Her heart and love burn, like fire, a flame, only to be extinguished down every street she turns, at every corner, every lane.
The tears that she weeps are not for you, but for her soul. How long can it go on, till it’s broken; till it’s blue?
So hard to watch as the time passes by; friends change, she changes, a week, a month, two years; still vacant she lies.
Building a future, a family a home; her heart is open, yearning, longing, so take it! Don’t roam. Yet here still she wanders, bereft and alone.
She doesn’t need to be that star, solitary in the night sky. A star can only shine bright for so long, soon enough, without love, all stars have to die.
