Dear Demon Archer,
I was recently instructed to grab the nearest book, flip to page 29, and write about the first word that sprung out from the page. Well hello there you lucky devil, this means you! Yes, that’s right, you’ve been chosen, at random, because sadistically, your appearance on page 29 happened to catch my eye. I have no idea what this says about me, maybe I’m subconsciously attracted to dark forces or whatever, but let me tell you a few things about you. I know you! I know you well. Better than I could ever have imagined, in fact. How is this possible? I hear you cry. Well…I kinda cheated…just a little. You see, the nearest book to me, at the time of writing this, was Game Of Thrones, and yes my friend, you make an appearance round about page 29 (I scanned the page once I’d found you and saw other words such as Daenerys and Khal Drogo and just put two and two together). Having seen the TV adaptations, I think I’m pretty well equipped to form an opinion and make a judgement about you.
Described as a Demon Archer, I first interpreted this to mean ‘evil’ or ‘frightening’ but after pondering over the use of the words I have surmised that maybe there is a double entendre behind this description; you are both evil in the very sense of the word but also a fantastic shot with a bow and arrow. Whichever way you look at it, you’re pretty menacing.
Despite this though, I find you quite alluring and just like Daenerys, I’d like to unearth your softer side and see what lies beneath, for we all know that brutes and warriors such as yourself possess a more emotional state of mind under all that machoism. Feel free to write back to me, I’ll provide an address. If you could though, please write in English as unfortunately, I don’t speak Dothraki.
Yours, in good faith,
Amy.
PS. Shit, I totally forgot, you die in the end don’t you?
Goddammit!
